The fight continues...

Hello,

Brian sends his hello to all! Today started off to be a great day with a huge breakfast but that didn't sit all that well this afternoon. He has been mostly awake for most of the day minus a few moments and goes to sleep pretty early. He has been almost sleeping through the night and is conserving his strength for the days to come that his white blood cells will be at his lowest (Mon, Tues & Wed). Hopefully tomorrow he will be able to keep some more food down and will have a good day as well.

Love to all,

Christie

Hi Brian, just to let you know we are thinking of you here in Vanderhoof and sending lots of healing thoughts and prayers your way. There are people who have been classified as "untreatable", that have defied the medical community and turned it all around to live for many, many years. We need to focus on that, the destination, which is to see you whole and healthy again to be with your family and be back on the road.
To a better tomorrow....

Hi Brian
Glad to hear that you are able to keep some nourishment down. We are all thinking of you and our prayers are with you. Chris, you and Brian are so lucky to have each other in this time of need. Wishing you well. I wanted to come out and see you but have been reluctant as you are probably tired and have many family members to visit. Take care. Ann

Hi Uncle Brian,

I just wanted you and Chris to know how much I enjoyed our visit with you on our way to Cuba. The wedding went wonderfully and I am now hitched, not just living in sin. I am hoping to make a trip to Vancouver to see you in the next little while.

I just wanted you to know that Tim and I are thinking of you and sending all our positive energy your way. From what I say when we saw you last, you have that all under control, you are so positive and that is what you need right now, but a little more never hurt.

Thanks to you and Chris for your gracious hospitality when we visites.

Love to you both, Sandra

Hola my big friend! So glad to hear that you made it back down to the land of sunshine and tequila! I was thinkin' about you when we tossed back a few in Zihua and Puerto Vallarta.

Hang in there Brian, we're all pullin' for you. I understand that there's a beach chair with your name on it waiting to be reclaimed.

Dear Brian,
It's times like this that it is so important to have friends and family -- and you appear to have lots of both. With all the positive thoughts and prayers going your way, along with your determination, you will beat this demon.

When I think of you Brian, I think of a man of principle and compassion who has the will to live life to its fullest. Keep up the fight. We miss you.

Brian,

I am another one who thinks of you often and prays for your recovery and that this Chemo thing will soon be over and will not take too much out of you. I wonder if you remember the many conversations you and I had prior to me taking my "time off" and, after my scare with breast cancer, realizing that life is short and there are many other things I wanted to spend my time doing other than working for some organization who really couldn't care less. It's the people we work with every day that make the job palatable and those are the ones we miss, not the burocracy. When you get better, you should reconsider retirement - you would be surprised how relaxing it is and how much money you DO NOT need in order to survive and do the things you want.

Missing you and wishing you a safe journey through this evil stretch.

Hello Brian,
Sad to hear you are on a tough JOURNEY. What I learned and know of you, is that "YOU" are able to overcome difficult challenges, yet, seemingly impossible at times, though, you did. I know you will look toward that same strenght, hope & faith, as you head down this path.....
I wish you well when moment's seem dark.
The difficulties and hardships we encounter do create meaning and depth to our lives.

Keep Believing......
